btw cukup handal lho nih wajan bolic.
dari 5 AP yg detect bisa sampai hampir 50 AP yg kedeteck. ckckckckckc…

nyambung kabel mah gampang kang iwan! Lihat dulu USB isinyanya ada berapa, soalnya ada yg isi 4 dan kadang ada yg isi 5.
Kalo isi 4, kabel UTP kan ada isinya 8 bagi 4 aja, masing2 2 kabel.
Nyambungnya USB dgn UTP sesuaikan warna Ujung 1 dengan warna ujung yg lain sama.
Misal bila Ujung USB kabel merah sambung dengan 2 kabel UTP warna apa aja, ujung lain juga harus dpt kabel warna yg sama dgn USB dan UTP.
Gmn? Bingung ya!…

mau nanya nie… setelah proses yang panjang akhirnya terdeteklah satu sinyal (ntah apalah itu) yang pasti pas diliat signalnya itu 100%.. yang masalahnya pas di klik “conect” ternyata tetap gak bisa dijalankan pas aq liat di network conectionnya itu ada gambar gembok dan tulisan “not conected” diatas tangga sinyal yang warna ijo itu(penuh)… jadi gimana tuh.. cuma satu itu yang terdetek… satu lagi gak jelas cuma kotak2 tapi sinyalnya juga 100%.. balas ke emailku yah.. rave_yori@yahoo.co.id

untuk bisa dapet status connected dari suatu sinyal wifi harus diperhatikan:
1. sinyal itu open atau tidak
2. adakah kode enkripsi seperti WEP/WPA, lha ini yang agak sulit, kita kudu tahu kode ini untuk bisa dapet koneksi dengan sinyal tsb.
3. dan apakah memang sinyak tersebut memang disahring, status DHCP dari server sinyal memang diaktifkan.
4. apalagi ya? kalo ada bisa dong ditambahkan!

Jarak ideal daya tangkapnya sampai 2 kilometer, tetapi setelah saya coba, bisa lebih dari 2 kilometer walaupun sinyalnya kurang begitu bagus. Tergantung juga medan antara hotspot dan tempat kita. Jadi kalo 1 kilometer, bisa deh dengan alat ini. Selamat mencoba aja.

ya udah, tinggal klik connect saja! tetapi itu bytuh WEP key atau tidak, biasanya kalau sinyal nya Open alias gratis, tidak perlu WEP. Jadi carilah sinyal yang tidak ada tanda kunci. BAru dicoba dikoneksikan.

wah susah juga nih kasusnya, soalnya AP ada bermacam-macam setingan security dan filternya. ada yang memakai wep, WPA dan juga memakai filter MAC address. Kalo APnya make yg filter MAC address ini, ini yang susah, hanya MAC adrees yang sudah diseting di APnya saja yang bisa konek. Untuk lenih jelasnya, coba saja masuk ke forumnya RTRW.net saja. Mungkin disana akan mendapatkan solusi dan pemecahannya.

Numpang lewat sekalian kasih komen,
Sekedar berbagi pengalaman. Menanggapi banyak pertanyaan “udah bisa konek tapi dengan menggunakan netstumbler belum dapet IP dan net subnet masknya” itu berarti AP tersebut tidak di setting DHCP sehingga kamu tidak bisa dengan otomatis mendapatkan IP dan subnet masknya. Hal tersebut merupakan salah satu trik pengelola hotspot agar tidak sembarang orang bisa ikutan internetan gratis, jadi yang berlangganan saja yang di beri IP, Subnet mask, IP Gateway dan DNS.
Dan betul kata mas Zigun masih banyak lagi cara untuk melakukan proteksi pada sebuah hotspot.
Solusi:
Bertanyalah pada hotspot sekitar apakah menawarkan paket berlangganan. Karena kamu sudah bisa menangkap signal hotpot yang ada dan kamu sudah menyediakan peralatan biasanya pengelola hotspot memberikan keringanan seperti memotong biaya instalasi dan alat.
Biaya bulanan hotspot biasanya berbeda-beda namun berkisar antara Rp.150-250rb/bulan.
