If you need a storage with highspeed data transfer, the answer is Freecom. Freecom just announce their new usb 3.0 hard drive with more big capacity, it’s call Freecom XS 3.0. Freecom XS 3.0 is World First USB 3.0 External Hard Drive. Freecom’s XS 3.0 is available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB storage capacity.
Freecom XS 3.0 hard drive is backwards-compatible and will work with all USB 2.0 enabled computers and notebooks. Freecom reckons its superquick drive should be able to hit speeds up to 130MBps – or 1,040Mbps. That’s over twice as fast as USB 2.0’s 60MBps/480Mbps theoretical maximum. With that kind of speed, you could move a 5GB file in just 38 seconds. Woow its so amazing.
The Freecom XS 3.0 will start shipping in Europe from mid-November with a starting price of €119 (about $175) for 1TB version.
