Wireless Lan or Wifi, networks that use radio waves, which is very cheap and easy to use, when compared with that using the cable network. However, this Wireless Network because it uses radio waves visible ang nota bene, if not we will allow secure dihack or the possibility of attack from outside.
These are some of the most important thing you should do for safety or security of your Wireless Network have, at least reduce the level of hacking activity or attaking:
1. Change Password Default Access Point.
2. If possible, change the default IP. (several brands of Access Points usually are accompanied by this facility).
3. Enable an encryption method, use WPA encryption with a Pre Shared Key (WPA-PSK), and provide a secure password. It could also make use WPA encryption with Temporal Key Integrity Protocol).
4. Disable SSID Broadcast function, so that your SSID is not on the process terdeksi War Driving.
5. Lindunngi SSID, by the way: change the default SSID name with the SSID name that is not easily predictable.
6. Use MAC Address filtering to reduce the infiltration activities
7. Non Enable DHCP, using Static IP with diguakan rare value.
8. Use additional security such as: CaptivePortal or other applications that inject the firmware on the Access Point.
9. Monitoring via the Access Point Client, this is the newest way to controlling uuntuk Access Point terhadapa you have through the client. Process ‘Block IP’, ‘Client Resctriction’ and the other security. One application of bias used is: Mc Affe Wireless Home Security.
Remember …! That no security system yg 100% secure … but still trying to secure the assets you have … .. At least we’ve tried.

Mbak Octavi, untuk pemasangan internet, anda harus datang langsung ke provider/ISP penyedia internet yg anda inginkan.
Karena prosedur pemasangannya dan perangkat yg dibutuhkan juga beda2.

gampang-gampang susah nih jawabnya! asalkan kita punya hp n kabel data n juga kartu sim card yg mempunyai layanan ISP. komputer kita hubungkan dengan hp dengan sarana kabel data, kemudian kkita koneksikan, komputer kita udah bisa untuk internetan.
Begitu juga dengan wifi, asalkan kita punya perangkat untuk menangkap sinyal wifi dan kita koneksikan ke pc, pc kita bisa digunakan untuk internetan.
